As an IT writer I am probably best known for my work on mobile and portable computing including PDAs, smartphones and notebooks as well as GPS navigation systems.

But I write much more widely than this, and my expertise extends into a range of other areas.

I am the IT columnist for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales IT Faculty magazine Chartech, and also writes their monthly closed circulation electronic newsletter, eChartech.

I've written four books on computing, including a worldwide best seller for the Readers Digest.

I also work directly with key companies in the IT sector on things like case study writing, press release production, brochures and other writing projects.
